I started RIVENDALE MINIATURE SHETLANDS just 7 yrs ago. We only
have a few ponies, but they are all happy and healthy and part of
the family really. We have Popeye our stallion, whom is soon to
move on to new pastures. He has been a wonderful fellow here but we
are sure he is going to be very happy where he is going. We have two foals due any day from our little black mare, Bridie and her daughter Bunny, both in foal to Popeye. So hopefully we shall have good news soon. We pride ourselves in spending many hours with them all, and hopefully this year will be able to join the showing circuit once more as we have had a couple of years off due to ill health. It is important to us that we handle the foals from an early age, and that we breed good strong boned, quiet natured ponies about 32 – 33” in height. Visitors are very welcome, with prior appointment
