The Parlington Stud is situated in the idyllic surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has been established for over 50 years. The stud consists of around 100 ponies, all colours, mostly miniature, renowned for their quality and fantastic temperaments.The parlington ponies had a very successful 2011 Breed Show at Falkirk where Parlington Rosamund was best mini brood mare and res mini champ. She also won best opposite sex to the champion and best exhibitor bred in the mini ring. Her foal won his class and Parlington Quentin, Utopia and Virginia won their progeny group class and were res champ progeny group. Utopia also won the trophy for best yeld mare and Virginia and Wisteria were both second in the 3yr old and 2yr old filly classes. Quentin was third and Xola (yearling filly) was fourth.
