DRYKNOWL
SHETLAND PONIES
Black, Piebald & Skewbald Ponies. Peter & Leonie Sellars

Situated 1200 feet (366 metres) up in the beautiful Peak
National Park, with its sparse grass and rugged terrain, it's an ideal environment in
which
to rear Shetland Ponies, ensuring they are active and fit. Our breeding policy has
been greatly influenced by the late Maurice Cox
(Marshwood Stud) when he pointed up the close breeding programmes of the
successful early Studs.
With many thanks to the owners of the 8 Dryknowl ponies, along with our own four, who
contributed to the winning score.
Winners of the prestigious
Shetland Pony Owners and Breeders
Cup 2005 for Prefix/Breeder Most Successful Show Ridden Ponies.
We are pleased that to date, Dryknowl is the only stud to
have won both awards.

We would like to thank the above
hard-working owners and their helpers for giving our ponies such knowledgeable homes in
which,
not only are they loved, but also given the opportunity to live full and happy lives.
Dryknowl ponies have wonderful
temperaments, which together with superb movement,
good bone and height make them ideal for both riding and driving.
