Top price of the day was £2257.50 for Mrs Sue Bowling’s unshown mare, Kerswell Phlox. This cream dun, 2006 born mare was bred by Mrs J Dennis, being sired by Kerswell Morse out of Kerswell Primrose. Phlox was sold with a Cranford Bon Chance sired colt foal, Athelney Pepperpot at foot and having been running with Kerswell Cowboy and Athelney Masterpiece. Phlox was purchased by Mrs D Banger to join her Marillion Stud.
Mrs Bowling also achieved second top with Cranford Petite Pink, bred by Messrs Hart & Whitmee. This Copperfields Nutmeg II sired mare, out of Cranford Plie met a final call of £1155 and was purchased by Mr AJ Brickell of Newport, Gwent.
